It's raining really hard right now and the wind is gusting like crazy. The weather bureau has issued an extreme weather warning and has told people to stay inside as much as possible. However, my dog doesn't seem to be capable of using a toilet like normal people can. It'd be OK if he could use the cat's litter, just not sure how the cats would react to that though.

Spent most of today getting Open Inventor to compile properly on RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 for the x86_64 (a.k.a. em64t) platform. What a pain in the ass. It's one of those bits of software that has grown organically rather than methodically. Bits and bobs were bolted on wherever they could go. Makes it pretty tough to look in the right spots to find bugs. Anyways, it's compiled now, got it all packaged up. Not sure if it'll work, but at least all the libs resolve.

So today turned out to be a geeky kind of blog entry. Now the truth is out. I am sure there will be plenty more like this one. Good thing there are plenty more blogs out there to read.
