Hectic day today
I was supposed to be working from home on a particular project but I didn't get much of a chance to do so. It seems that whenever I got ready to get cracking on it, I got another phone call or email asking me to fix something or help someone. Now I am not saying this to put feathers up my own ass, but it sucks to be popular :P
Today was also the day that Merijn left for France again. It will probably be quite another while before we see eachother again. He's going to start his nursing course in October and this will take 6 months, I believe. Most of the course is doing an internship in a hospital. He's quite passionate about helping people in need.
Talked to my mum on the phone again this evening. She was quite surprised when I told her that I could see when she'd looked at my blog: "Oh my God, you can see that?". Now you see that it's not only the mothers that know everything.
She told me that my brother missed his train in Paris because he misread his ticket. Apparently he missed it by just a few minutes. That's very unlike Merijn, like me he tends to be early, rather than late for things. Sucks that he had to buy a new ticket, I just hope it wasn't too expensive.
I think I'll probably try to work from home again on Friday to make up for the time lost today. I've got Monday scheduled for working from home on this project. I love working from home. It's good that Tammy and I don't get sick of eachother's company or we'd have serious problems.
The funny thing about Tammy and I is that we can't stay mad at eachother, no matter how hard we try. I pissed her off in a major way yesterday but when I got home again she said to me: "Damn you, why do you always do that to me? Why can't I just stay mad at you for a few days?" I am glad we're this way though, being mad is stupid, but making up can be so much fun :)
Tomorrow it's back to the office, bah. Well, not really bah, but I just love working from home. I'll try to make some pictures of my office tomorrow and post them. If that's not a cliffhanger then I don't know!
