Wow, I went biking this evening to see how far a ride it was to the mountain bike club house. It was grey and overcast but being the eternal optmist that I am, I thought I'd be able to get there and back without the rain getting me. Was I ever disappointed. I got caught in no less than 4 torrential downpours on my way there and back. It was raining so hard that the drops were actually hurting my head as they hammered down on me. Thank God both the MP3 player and my mobile were relatively dry, I can't say the same for the head phones though. I hope they're OK. I guess I'll know by tomorrow when they've dried out a little.
I am working from home again tomorrow and the day after. That's very good. I still have a tonne of documentation to write and it just doesn't get done when I am in the office. There are too many distractions there. The worst one being people who find it necessary to TALK REALLY LOUD WHEN THEY'RE ON THE SPEAKER PHONE TO ANOTHER PERSON and "forget" to close their friggin' office door. Grr!!! Anyway, I have to be back in the office on Friday to go over the documentation I've created with my project manager. He's a really cool guy (not just saying that in case he reads this).
It's still pissing down as we speak, two hours after I've come back. I am betting there will be local flooding stories in the news papers tomorrow :)
