I took my camera into the office yesterday and took some nice pictures of my desk. As you can see, my desk is quite decorated without being cluttered. This is very different at home. There it's more cluttered than decorated.

    

As you may or may not be able to discern from the picture, I really like having plants on my desk. The one plant to the right of my desk has been moving with me from office to office for the past 3 years. At one point it had grown so out of control that the branches were more than 3 meters in length, in each direction. So when it came to moving the last time, I had to do some serious pruning. It doesn't look too bad now, but it's not nearly as impressive looking as it used to. My other plant is a cactus. It doesn't seem to be doing too well at the moment. The plants in the big hydroponic thing behind my monitor is what's called a lease plant. The building is full of them. Shell rents them from a company that then comes around to water and prune them when necessary. I have one on both ends of the desk, but you can see only one in the picture.
