Bah, summer is over, I think. They're predicting this month might be one of the wettest Augusts in history. There is a chance of local flooding in all coastal areas due to heavy rain. I am so glad I live in Rotterdam, which just happens to be close to the coast. Umbrellas tend to be rendered useless in 10 seconds flat, if you're lucky, by the heavy gusts of wind that accompany said rain. It's a good thing my office is only about a 5 minute walk to the train station and that my house is only 5 minutes from the train station in Rotterdam. Mind you, you only need about 30 seconds to get soaked, sometimes.
This weekend there's a PC fair in the Ahoy. Tammy and I are thinking about going tomorrow. It's always interesting and you can often pick up a nice bargain.
