Has anyone seen my baby?

Tammy just finished sitting those two Basenjis in The Hague and guess what? She's not even through the front door and the phone's already ringing! A lady in Heemstede has to go to Scotland with the rest of her family for a family emergency. She's asked Tammy to sit her cats and dog for 5 days (Wednesday until Sunday). It's a Weimarener, so there's a good chance this dog will be taking her for a walk, rather than the other way around. The owner described the dog as "boisterous".
Tammy loved the dogs she sat for Staci, given half a chance she would've taken them both home. They were wonderful dogs, so meek and so quiet. I wonder if she's going to want a Weimarener after this weekend. They're a lot bigger than Basenjis though and MUCH bigger than little Bailey. God, even the Basenjis were about 1.5 times as big as him and a LOT more solid. The lady did say that we can take Bailey up their house this weekend, so I won't be completely without my baby until Sunday. It's an hour by train just to get to the train station closest to their town, I have no idea how far it is to get from there to the house. I guess Tammy will find out tomorrow when the lady goes to pick her up from the station.
Apparently their ADSL modem is not working at the moment, so that may mean that Tammy won't have a lot of access to the Net at all while she's there. She's loading up her laptop with movies as I am writing this. She plans to work on her photos and her web pages, so I am sure she'll be keeping herself well entertained.
It's been weird sleeping in the bed all by myself. I keep waking up every hour or so. Bailey sleeps in the bed with me though, so I am not completely alone, but it's just not the same. I miss having her home, but this is a great opportunity to bring in some extra cash. It's almost fall, so we're both going to need some new shoes and jackets for the winter. We'd like to go visit my dad and Jenny and my mum this christmas, but that will depend on whether we can scrape together the cash for it. It'll be nice to see them again. I haven't seen my mum in about 5 years or so (long story) and my dad and Jen in, umm, I can't remember, but less than 5 years :)
I am making it sound worse than it really is. The thing is we've spent the past 5 years never really being apart, so it's just taking some time to adjust :) I'll live...Hopefully...
