Home alone II
Determined to get back onto the proverbial horse, Tammy has just left for another job in Amsterdam. This time though, the person she's sitting for is a collegue of a person who has their dog walked by a girl who does approximately the same thing as Tammy. She (the dog walker) said this guy was fine and that she had nothing to worry about. He's even paying up front, so we know we're going to get that money for sure. Even better is that they're paying for her train ticket to get there and back. He won't be there when she arrives at the house and Tammy will be gone by the time this guy gets back. I won't be able to come over this evening, but I'll be popping by tomorrow morning. This job is until Tuesday next week. It's right in the city center of Amsterdam, somewhere parallel to the Prinsengracht in a 4 story canal side house (Herenhuis in Dutch). The dog in question a 5 month old Staffordshire pup, weighing in about 15 kilos or so. I am sure this dog will a be LOT easier to walk than that long legged disaster called Cartouche.
So, I'll be home all by my lonesome this evening. Good thing Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace is on TV tonight. Tammy didn't like that movie much, so it's just as well she's not here then. I have no idea what to do for dinner, but it's not something we have in the house, because, well, we have nothing in the house. Come to think of it, I am not even sure what I could have for lunch.
Last night's "shareholders' meeting" went OK. However, I'll believe the rosy picture when I see it. There was talk of shareholders' equity and dividends and all that larkin', but it's all just words until I see the amounts in my bank account.
I bought Bailey two of those fake bones filled with gunk. One was bright red (some kind of meat extract?) and the other yellow (smells of cheese). He really does not like the red one much but he's quite busy hollowing out the yellow one. I'd take a picture but Tammy has taken the camera with her. She doesn't go anywhere without that thing. If you didn't know already, she has a bunch of albums online for all to see.
