I Amsterdam. That's the title of a book I saw in the book store in the city center of Amsterdam. Kind of a nice title, if you're from there, I guess. I am sure we can come up with something funny for Rotterdam. This pet sitting session is not as bad as the previous one. For one thing the dog's smaller and the money's been paid up front. However Bailey is not as impressed with the whole deal as we are. This little dog, well, heh, not really that little, is trying to assert her dominance over Bailey and he's not that happy with that. They spend a lot of time scrapping. The funniest of it all is that he is EXACTLY like this with Spencer. I guess he's just not as happy with being opressed as he with being the oppressor.
The appartment we're in is in the middle of the city, about 10 minute walk from Leidse Plein. We had a look and apparently this one costs a whopping €1450 in rent a month. Holy crap! That's at least three times as much as what we're paying and this place is not even as big. I guess it's all about location.
Tonight we're having an Alien-a-thon. The owner of the apartment has a tonne of DVDs for us to watch, including all of the Alien movies ever made, hurray! We watched The Recruit last night. It's a good movie, but I had seen it before. The other movie watrched was Heat. A lot of good actors in that. We have Frailty on at the moment, it's a little weird.
Not much to write about, we're not online a lot at the moment since we only have dial-up and it wouldn't be very nice to give this guy a massive phone bill at the of the month.
