Summer is over, the skies are grey and it's super windy outside. Of course, it's not a hurricane or anything like that, but it's pretty close, hehe. Apologies for the rather brief post yesterday. My brain was just too damn tired by the time I got around to writing a blog entry. I am using two new programs to post my pictures now. The first one is
Picasa and the other is called
. With
Picasa you can organise your photos into albums and with
you can upload them to
Blogger. Last night's posted picture and this one are both done this way. I no longer need to mess with web based uploading pages and such like. I am not sure what my limit is on
Blogger, but I am sure it's more than I need, for the moment.
All of this week I'll be working from home, I have so much documentation to write. In fact, I should probably be working on it right now, instead of writing this blog. Taking a break from it can be a good thing sometimes. On Thursday Tammy and I have an appointment with the Gynacologist to see why we're still not pregnant. I say we, but she's really the one doing most of the work when "we"e are pregant. We're going to get all of our bits checked out, make sure nothing's broken and all is functioning within established parameters (whatever those are). On Thursday evening I have an "Extraordinary General Meeting". It's basically a shareholders meeting. The boss man says we're making a profit and he wants to pay out some dividents at the end of the year. We'll find out how much and when, so that'll be good (hopefully). A nice christmas bonus wouldn't go amiss. It's the first time in the
company's history that this has happened, so I have no idea what to expect. I'll be sure to post the results when I get them (or my CV if they're really terrible!).

I'd like to give a big shout out to Padraig. He sure saved our skins on Sunday night after this weekends pet sitting fiasco. For more details, I refer you to Tammy's
blog. He came and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. It sucks that it ended up like this. We really could've used the money that we thought we had coming to us (€200). We'll have to figure out another way to pay for our tickets to France this Christmas. This disaster is not going to happen again and like Padraig said, we'll have to chalk this up to experience. Next time Tammy will insist on getting paid in full up front and make them sign all sorts of disclaimers and what have you. Once burned, twice shy and all that larkin.
