Well, it's been a while again. I guess I just didn't have anything really interesting to talk about in the past week or so since I last wrote. Tammy and I are getting all the gears in motion to buy the house we're renting now. The guy who was going to help get some of the price of the place knocked down has really come through for us. He's managed to knock it down from €98,000 to €94,000. So that's a really good thing. We'll end up paying about the same per month, but instead of it indcreasing by at least 3% every year, the price will remain the same for the next 7 years, so that's a very good thing.
In other news... Hmm, wait, there is no other news. Oh, the labour unions have decided to call a strike on Thursday, so no trains and no buses. Yeah, that's telling the government ministers who, by the way, all travel by car. So it's the normal folks that are hit by the strike, rather than the folks coming up with the new laws. Makes perfect sense. A lot of people won't be able to get to work on Thursday, including myself. It's good thing I can work from home, but this striking crap is rediculous. People in the IT business don't go on strike either and most of us haven't had a raise in more than 3 years. So suck it up and live with it or look for another job.
