Our man from the Postbank called this morning to let us know that the forms we'd filled in previously were all very good and that he didn't foresee any problems. Next Tuesday a specialized firm is going to come by and make a formal price estimate and write a report about it for the whole sales process. Apparently this is something that is required, oh well. If it turns out the house is worth less, we'll have to renegotiate, but the Postbank man said that that was doubtful. So all in all, we're making good progress on our journey towards owning this house. It'll be great once this place is ours.
On another note, we picked up Tammy's new verblijfsvergunning (residency permit) this morning. She looks somewhat stunned on the picture, bit like a deer caught in head-lights. I won't put it up here, I still need a place to sleep in the bed tonight. Needless to say it's given me quite a few good chuckles.
