These are some pictures I took this afternoon in our test room. As you can see there's no shortage of computers there. We have 4 XW8200's, 5 XW8000's, a lone ZX6000 (dual Itanium2 based WS) and a SUN Blade 1000. We also have a pre-production Intel system with the EM64T CPU in it. Together with approximately 5 21" TFT monitors and a few CRTs, it can get pretty noisy and warm in there. The poor airco kept cutting out during the warmer months of July and August. At one point we started having to switch any machine not needed right then off. Anyways, that's enough geekiness for a while.
We got a letter today saying our mortgage application had been formally accepted by the Postbank, that's good news. All we're waiting for now is the appraisal on Tuesday and then I don't think there's much left do other than getting everyone to sign the contracts and stuff. Excellent news!
