The company Christmas party was fun. The boss gave everyone a new company car. Yes, that's right, a brand-new race car like in the movie The Fast and the Furious. One small detail, though; it's remote controlled and it's a 1:6 scale model. It can do up to 40km/h which is 10 kms faster than the speed limit in this area. The food at the party was very good. Andy (my boss) cooked three different curry dishes, one with prawns, one with chicken and the other with beef. The beef one was quite spicy, it had two huge chilies in it and one Madame Janet pepper. For those unfamiliar with the Madama Janet; think of the hottest chili pepper you have ever tasted. Now multiply that by 100 or so. It was very tasty though. For dessert we had fresh fruits with curry and chili pepper powder on it. It was somewhat strange, the hot with the cool, very tasty though.
Sir Reflog has released a bug fix version of PyQLogger. We released it a little prematurely with a few too many bugs left in it. Oh well, it happens :) More QC next time, I guess.
Tomorrow, Tammy finds out how she did in her test. We're going there together since we need to do some Christmas shopping afterwards. I am sure she's done really well, she's really progressing very well. We speak Dutch quite a bit together now. I love that she's making such and effort to learn it now. Not only that, but she seems to be enjoying it, too. If she has passed this test, she'll be progressing to the next level. Each level is 9 weeks long. If you fail, however, you need to redo the current one. I am very hopeful though.
