Little things in life

My apologies for once again neglecting my blog. I've just been completely uninspired to write anything. I've been super busy at work so it usually boils down to me coming home and not wanting to spend any more time at the computer.
Yesterday I was thinking about some of the things that put a smile to my face, other than Tammy, of course.
A snow covered landscape
An early train with no one in the compartment but myself
The entire wing in the building I am in to myself
Bailey cuddling up to me when I watch TV
Spencer cuddling up to me when I watch TV

To me, coming into the office in the morning and finding all the fire partitioning doors still closed and all the lights off is always a very happy moment. It means I am in the first in the department to come in and it usually means some peace and quiet, for a while at least. I usually start my work at about 7:15AM and end my day at about 4PM. The reason for this is that the train delays don't usually start until about 7:30AM and very few people are daft enough to go to work at that time which means that the compartments are nice and deserted. I guess that makes me a little anti-social and if that's indeed what I am then I am not really going to care much what anyone else things, am I?
As Tammy already mentioned in her blog, I have been looking around to see if there are other prospective employers that are willing to give me the salary and perks that I want. So far I have done 3 interviews with 2 employers. I have another possible one coming up very soon, I'll know more about that early next week.
As some of you may or may not know, it's been snowing a LOT in the Netherlands in the past two days and the KNMI (The Royal Weather Institute) says there's lots more where that came from. I took a crappy picture from behind the glass of the little court yard at our office building. When I took the dog for a walk this morning all the snow was still there, I sure hope we get a little more. Right now it's about 5cms with more in some places. Up in the north of the Netherlands they have up to 50cms of snow in some places. For some of you this may not seem like a lot but aparently it hasn't snowed like this since 1959. Let's see if we can make it even better!
