We finally got cracking on redecorating the house. We ripped down all the god-awful wall paper on one side of the living room and took down the horrible tiled mirrors. It looks much, much better now, even though the wall is just bare plastered concrete right now. Today we'll be moving onto the spare room to take down the closet in there and rip down all the wall paper in there. The plan is to put up glass-fiber wall paper stuff that can cover any and all little bumps on the wall which we can then paint or re-paper. I am sure Tammy has this all figured out already, including the colour-scheme. I can't wait for all the horrible pink in the house to be gone. For a straight guy (well, he did have a girl friend), the previous tenant sure liked his pink, mirrors and gold trims. Perhaps we just missed his collection of hand bags when we came to view the place all those years ago.
In other news: it is no longer snowing here. Yesterday, a lot of the snow melted once the sun came out but most of the melting water froze again once it started to drop below zero (that's Celcius, not Fahrenheit), so now, I am sure, the pavement will look like an ice rink with bumps.
This morning Bailey was feeling much better than yesterday. He puked again yesterday morning and was a little bit off most of the day. He's very alert this morning and ate all his food in no time at all. We still give him his anti-nausea pills and some other pill that he's supposed to finish in about day or so. The food he's getting now is special stuff for dogs with sensitive bowels. I wish I knew what was going on, the vet's not 100% sure either. He was eating his normal food for almost two years and nothing was wrong, he rarely got sick and now he's been on and off for the past 2-3 weeks or so. I sure hope it passes.
