Attack of the Red Lobster People
Yesterday, as I made my way through The Hague central station, I was almost overrun by the Red Lobster People. "Who are they and where did they come from?" you might be asking yourself. It's been a very warm and sunny last couple of days with temperatures of up to 30C, so a lot of people have been going to the beaches to catch a few rays. As with most pasty white people of the Caucasian persuasion, rather than doing the sensible thing and slapping on SPF 2000, they bake all day in the sun. I am betting there are a lot of people who had trouble sleeping last night with their skin on fire. With global warming on the increase and the ozone hole growing by the day, perhaps it is time to invest in a pharmaceutical company that specializes in melanoma removal? You'd think that most people would know better, I guess not.
This week I'll be home alone as Tammy does her 8-day house and pet sitting thing. It's weird being in the house by myself, especially for this long. I'm going to try to work from home on Wednesday and then basically work from the house she's staying at. It'll depend on my work load, I guess.
