Bad luck
This morning I read that a 62 year old man carrying a metal cross at a funeral march got struck by lightning. This reminded me of another story a week or so ago about a van full of people attending another funeral plummeting down a ravine. This is either really bad luck or proof that God has a very weird sense of humour.
It's going to be a tropically hot day in the Netherlands. They predicting temperatures in excess of 30C with high humidity. So we get tropical weather but not the scenery, something's not right. Proof yet again? I'm planning to plot the temperature in the office. I started a little late with it, about 09:30. It was 28.1C then and now, 15 minutes later, it has gone up by 0.4C, so things are looking up! When I got into the office at 07:20 it was a mere 26.7C. I can't wait for the rain tomorrow. Perhaps we can pass a law to make all temperatures of above 25C illegal. We already have laws for everything else, so why not this as well?
