Well, it was bound to happen some day. My trusty Clie TJ27 was mortally wounded this weekend during an incident involving a very tall carved wooden statue of a cat, a cup of hot coffee and most probably a gremlin. Knowing that I'd be lost without a PDA to keep track of my daily duties and mind numbingly boring meetings, Tammy suggested we use the emergency fund to buy me a new one. I chose the PalmOne Zire 72S. It was the closest to what I had before and in the same price range. It kind of sucked having to buy a new one because of something like this. I must say, it's a very, very nice PDA. It's just like the one on the picture to the left. It has a 1.2 MegaPixel camera that is also capable of taking small videos, so expect some of those soon. It can also do audio, which is something the Sony couldn't. It can play MP3s and such like. One of the nicest features is Bluetooth. I can't wait to configure it so that I can sit on my couch and talk to my laptop on my desk. I love wireless stuff. So, although I am sad to have seen my TJ27 meet such a terrible demise, I am more than happy with my new toy. It's good to be a geek with a wife who knows what's
really important!
